CT²: This guide is updated substantially at least once a year and ongoing pieces of work to develop it will be discussed in the blog Thought in progress.  The evaluations of textbooks are primarily about the type of content and quite superficial because I’ve only used about a dozen of the textbooks myself.

I do not address the effectiveness of particular types of analysis for improving students’ cognition.  There is a lot of discussion about that right now in the US, but the evidence is quite scant so far as I can tell.
